in 90 meters from the Port & the church Saint-Vincent (1551-1572),
with its belfry of oriental type,
where it was baptized the musician Maurice 'Bolero' Ravel,
who was born just behind of it;

From here, a walk around the bay is a real sense experience.
This is a historical area, in the middle between the beaches of Socoa & Saint-Jean-de-Luz,
and between the wonderful waves for the surf: south, Hendaye (10 km) and north, Guéthary (7 km);
in some minutes from Biarritz (14 km), Bayonne (21 km) or San Sebastián (28 km).
Nearby, there is a space for free parking, next to the Town hall, where on Sundays the farmer and peasant of the country-side
show the result of their daily job in a colourist and animated popular market.
